GoFood’s

Overflow Screen

Problem Statement

The overflow page on GoFood allows users to search for restaurants or food. However, it doesn’t surface recently viewed restaurants, making it harder for users to quickly return to items they’ve already explored.

My role as Content Designer

- Ensure copy is concise and easy to scan, reducing cognitive load on a busy page.

- Clearly communicate the who and what, so users immediately understand the context.

- Collaborate with designers to maintain a simple, user-friendly layout that supports clarity.

Solution

Clearly label the section as restaurants the user recently viewed, using the familiar

verbiage used in Southeast Asia.

Impact

Users quickly recognise past choices, reducing effort and making the search experience smoother.
