Candy Crush Saga:

Content Design Guideline

Problem statement

The previous Content Design Guidelines were documented in Confluence, a platform rarely used by the Design team. To access the guidelines, designers had to navigate several security and OSSlogin screens, which significantly slowed down their workflow.‌ ‌

My role as Content Designer

- Evaluate and audit existing guidelines‌ to ensure they reflect current industry‌

- practices.‌

- Collect feedback from other UX writers‌ on the team to ensure the content is‌

relevant and useful.‌

- Define a new home for the guidelines.‌

- Maintain the guidelines and update the content based on new developments in

- the game.‌

Solution

- All designers have access to Figma, and Content Designers work on UX copy

directly within wireframes. Moving the Content Design guidelines to Figma

streamlines the workflow and reduces the need to switch between platforms.

- I audit the existing guidelines, ensuring they are accessible where designers

already work.

- I design a clear, user-friendly structure and layout for the guidelines, making

them easier to navigate.

- I add new content to keep the guidelines aligned with the latest industry practices,

improving consistency and quality across the team’s work.

Impact

- Designers can swiftly find what they’re looking for, reducing friction.

- Designers are given clear of best practices and what to avoid.
